Congratulations, Gabby, on completing the Great North Run!

Trainee Licenced Conveyancer Gabrielle Eglintine successfully completed the Great North Run yesterday with her partner, Josh. 

In memory of her partner’s former cricket teammate and friend, Danny Shurmer, Gabrielle and Josh were raising funds in aid of the DS43 charity. Danny sadly passed away on the 17th June 2021 after suffering a cardiac arrest in his home, aged only 43.

Danny's parents, Bill and Pam set up the charity DS43 to install defibrillators across the community to ensure every home has access 24/7 to a defibrillator within 500 meters. TMJ Legal Services also became a patron of the charity in 2022.

Gabrielle said:

"What a day! It was far tougher than anticipated, especially in the heat, but the atmosphere was incredible, and there was such a sense of community all the way along the course. The generosity and support of the crowd were overwhelming and definitely helped us get through those final gruelling miles. To have done it and know it was for such a great cause makes the aches and pains today all worthwhile!"
