Promotions for Top Legal Services Team

TMJ Legal Services has been helping individuals and businesses since 1986.  With offices in Hartlepool, Peterlee, Durham & Wingate, they employ more than 30 members of staff and offer high quality, competitively priced legal services.

Catherine Donworth, Solicitor in the Private Client department, has been promoted to Director.  Catherine has particular experience in Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts and Conveyancing.  She joined the firm in April 2016 and undertook her training at TMJ, qualifying as a Solicitor in April 2018.

Catherine said, “I am delighted to be appointed as Director.  I’m looking forward to this new chapter.  It’s a really exciting opportunity to bring my experience and enthusiasm to the management team and build on the strengths we have.  We continuously strive to be a leading law firm in the North East and deliver the best service for our clients, long-standing and new.  I hope I will be able to add to the firm’s continued growth”

In addition, Erin Dobing, who joined TMJ in 2022, has successfully completed her training contract in January 2024 and secured a permanent solicitor role within the firm, specialising in Family Law.

Gabrielle Eglintine, who joined the firm in 2017 as a paralegal, qualified as a Licenced Conveyancer in December 2023.  Gabrielle deals with a wide variety of conveyancing transactions and is known for her professionalism and eye for detail.

As well as the internal promotions, TMJ are also delighted to announce the appointment of Olivia Green as a Trainee Solicitor.  Olivia joined the firm in January 2024 and is currently undertaking her first seat in the Private Client department.

The Directors said: “We are so proud of these members of staff working hard to reach their career goals.  We are also grateful for the time, effort and commitment made by so many of our experienced members of staff in providing training and support which is so important for the future of the firm.

“We have many long-term members of support staff who share their knowledge and experience with new employees of the firm, while our admin staff, who predominantly work behind the scenes, provide continuous support to the Directors and all staff – all of them are our unsung heroes.”
