TMJ Legal Services Will Writing donation helps to raise £8,000

Featured in the Hartlepool Mail, Alice House Hospice’s annual ‘Make a Will Month’ campaign, in partnership with TMJ Legal Services and local solicitors, has raised over £8,000 for local care services.

Make A Will Month has become a key initiative in funding vital care services at Alice House Hospice, which costs over £3.6m per year. TMJ Legal Services participates annually, offering a will writing service in exchange for a set donation to Alice House Hospice instead of their usual fee.

The money raised during Make a Will Month funds Alice House’s end-of-life services, supporting both patients and families affected by life-limiting illness or the death of a loved one.

Make A Will Month encourages patients and families to plan and organise their affairs whilst supporting the Hospice. 

Alice House’s In Memory Fundraiser, Nicola Winwood said:

“This money has been put to excellent use, providing vital support to local patients and families.
On behalf of the Hospice, thanks go to all who took part in Make a Will Month – this support is so important, and these business partnerships are essential to sustaining our services.”

Make a Will Month is an annual fundraising effort. The next Make a Will Month will be October 2025.
