Negotiating a settlement
Where you need help negotiating with your ex-partner we can offer advice and correspond on your behalf to reach an agreement.
Court Proceedings
When an agreement cannot be reached, you may choose to ask the Court to resolve matters for you. TMJ Legal Services can attend Court with you and prepare all necessary Court documentation for an agreed fee.
Final (contested) hearing
Where Court proceedings have not resulted in an agreement and a final hearing is necessary for the Court to make a ruling, TMJ Legal Services can carry out all preparation for the hearing, and instruct a specialised family law barrister to attend the final hearing to represent you.
Third-party costs
In some cases there can be additional work, e.g. obtaining an expert report for pensions or property valuation. These fees are additional charges.
